Can we keep the chippings for our garden?

Yes, you certainly may. As long as they are clean, hard wood chippings and are produced from a tree which is not diseased. Conifer chippings are not suitable for your garden beds, due to acidity levels.

How much does a survey cost?

Depends on the amount of trees to look at, usually no more than £250. This involves a detailed report on each tree, noting the species, tree condition, action to be taken and the trees will be tagged with a number in order for them to be databased.

What size of wood can your chipper take?

It can take wood up to ten inches in diameter.
