About James Clark

Since leaving Agricultural College, James has worked under well recognised Aborists' of the trade throughout England. All the firms have practised Arboriculture for city councils, making sure amenity tree work is second to none. This has helped him gain the experience that delivers the quality of work that James Clarks Tree Surgeon produces today.

This web site has been designed to educate the customer and to give them an insight into what Arboriculture is about. Trees are the lungs of this earth and must be managed correctly by proper governing bodies like ourselves. Though I regret to admit that there are those in the business out to make a fast buck, and let us down greatly.

If you are concerned about whether or not he/she is up to the job, make sure you always look out for the following qualifications:

  • NCH Arboriculture:
Plant and soil science, tree climbing, Arboricultural Operations, Arboricultural Studies, FASTCo Health & Safety, British Standards Acts, Tree Health (pests & diseases), Plant Identification and Application, Urban Forestry, Engineering, Plant Propagation and Business Studies
  • NCH Arboriculture
  • NPTC Certificates
  • Health and Safety Awareness Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate

But, make no mistake, as these qualifications must also come with much experience.

I hope that you find this website helpful and understand more about what we do. It is through very hard work and dedication that James Clark Tree Surgeon prides himself on aiming to make a difference by keeping Scotland’s trees healthy.
